Woodland Farm is owned and operated by Pete Teveris and his family. The farm was originally started by Pete's great grandfather, Albert Carini. He passed the farm on to his daughter, Adele and her husband Louis Taylor. Although their sons farmed it for a while, it was their daughter Arden and her husband Harold Teveris who with their childrens help, brought the orchard back into production.
In the early 1960's, the Teveris family spent their weekends working in the orchard, clearing land and planting new trees.
Over the years we have added to the orchard with raspberries, blueberries, peaches, plums, pears and a multitude of apple varieties.
We are especially proud of our peach crop. Peach season starts in early July with the Harbinger ends in mid September with the Encore peaches.
In the early 1990's we added on a cider room and in the fall you will find us making our own fresh pressed unpasturized cider several times a week!
We are located in the scenic hills of South Glastonbury on Woodland Street. Come out and visit the farm where you know your fruit and berries are fresh picked! We are open daily from late June to the end of December.
Our small family farm can also be found at several farm markets around the state where we bring the freshest fruit to you!
